Image Metadata Viewer loads your file in the browser and uses the exifr library to parse EXIF, IPTC, and XMP tags. Cameras and phones store details like lens model, exposure settings, timestamps, and GPS coordinates inside the file header. The tool groups common fields for quick reading and keeps the full JSON available for advanced use. Because parsing happens locally in your browser, your photo never leaves your device. Some edited or exported images may have metadata stripped.
