This tool sends your text to the LanguageTool API — an open-source grammar checking engine used by millions. LanguageTool applies thousands of language-specific rules to detect spelling mistakes, grammar errors, punctuation issues, and style problems. It returns each error with its position in the text, a human-readable explanation, and up to five suggested replacements. The tool color-codes errors by type: red for spelling, orange for grammar, purple for punctuation, and blue for style. Your text is processed by LanguageTool's servers and discarded after checking — it is not stored.
